The mask mandate for indoor public spaces is now extended to everyone 5 years of age and older. In anticipation of approved COVID-19 vaccines for younger British Columbians, parents can also now pre-register children aged 5-11 years old through the Get Vaccinated website.

Effective October 12, 2021, all visitors (aged 12 and older) to long-term care and assisted-living facilities will need to show proof they have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. And starting October  26, 2021, all visitors to long-term care, assisted-living and acute-care facilities will need to show proof they are fully vaccinated with two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
